have you ever noticed that on your birthday, you don't feel older? you don't feel wiser and you don't feel more mature.
you DO feel like you should be given more respect. like you should be given more freedom to do as you please. like a whole other year has already gone by... and you certainly feel happier. :)
i don't know what it is, but i always feel 10x happier on my birthday than on just some other day. i feel like i'm on the top of the world and that nothing can bring me down. :)


but for some reason... the next day always just seems so... blah.

so i re-did the whole look on my blog(: you like?

now i know what you're thinking...

i really thought with that title up there, haley, that you were going to write about how you're going into high school and how things are going to change.

well, just to please you... ;)

i'm going from a school with 60 in the grade to one with 315 in the grade... and it's not like that's weird to me or anything because i used to go to a school with 400 in the grade... which is big...

but so many things are going to change going to high school... and because i'm better at making  lists, i'm going to make a list about all the things that are going to change... here goes nothing:

1. the size. that ones basically an obvious thing that doesn't bother me but... you know.

2. my friends inside school. one girl hates me now. it's cool. i don't particularly care for her either... one girl is changing schools. and i mean what are the chances that i have classes with all of my friends? i know i have 4 with one of my chicas but i'm going to have a whole new group i'm going to hang with. which, again, doesn't bother me... but... i don't know. it's just a change.

3. my friends outside school. with homework and extra curriculars when in the world are we going to have time to hang??

4. homework. load. my my my. it's supposed to be CRAZY bad. :P

'we'll be a dream...'

i was inspired by emma katherine's blog (which you should check out, by the way.)
but anyways...
so i had this crazy dream last night...


so i woke up and there was this huge spider swinging onto my bed... where my younger cousin was sleeping next to me. so i literally ran out of the room screaming but left my cousin there (aren't i super nice) and then i go into my kitchen and my mom and aunt and uncle are all in there. and my aunt first has brown hair and then blonde... whatever. and then i walk out of the room and walk in on my brother (i'm an only child so you can only guess how weird this already is..) and his girlfriend while they were eating dinner. (yes i did just 'wake up' in my dream..) and my 'brother' got all mad at me and made me go and make him a salad. but i couldn't just make it at home, oh no. that would be to easy. i had to somehow go out and buy and make the salad. i don't even know. so me and my younger brother... (again with the brothers...) went out to go make his salad but we somehow had extra time and went to a movie theatre to grab him a dessert. (who knows...) and we got him some cotton candy (which i ended up eating... even in my sleep i'm a fatty(; ) and other things that i don't remember. then we were magically able to fly. so we flew home. and somehow the spider grew and tried to take over the world or something and my older 'brother' acquired super powers also and took down the spider... and then i woke up. thankfully(:

so my boyfriend is younger than me by 2 years. totally fine be me. and, i'm going to be a little self-concieted here, you'd think that this whole me-being-older deal would make him, i don't know.. for the lack of a better word... grateful?
